Then move double elimination bracket the finals will be best out of 5 fights for champion. The prizes will be a Gunther custom shield, Damascus high carbon steel knife seax knife created by Vance Roberts. The champion will receive first pick of prizes and there will be a prize for the highest placed unbelted. Entry into the tournament will be a toy drive for toys for tots.

Rapier:
Novice tourney: Round Robin, may adjust depending on attendance

Christmas (Charity) Tournament: As usual to enter the Rapier tournament, we are asking for a donation of pet food or pet toys from each entrant to cover their tournament entrance fee. For a maximum of one extra life we are asking that entrants bring another pet food item or pet toys to donate (large multi-pack containers, such as large cases of canned wet food or a case of multiple bags of cat litter, will count as two donations for the purposes of extra lives). All sizes welcome and more than one donation accepted wholeheartedly!

Lives will be represented by glass beads, provided by the marshals. [Tentatively, for an added twist, I’m wanting to make this a dice tourney. Each bout, both combatants will have their armament independently determined by a die roll, their authorizations allowing.
